Cooper Mountain Elementary Chess Club

Cooper Mountain Elementary [CME] Chess Club is a group of students/players who enjoy playing or want to learn chess including parents who enjoy teaching chess. We provide chess playing instruction & materials including opportunities to improve skills and play.

Cooper Mountain Elementary [CME] Chess Club is open to K-5 students/players, of all skill levels including beginners. Registration is open to all Beaverton School District [BSD] students that don’t have a chess opportunity at their local schools.

As we welcome back existing players and continue to welcome new players to Cooper Mountain [CME] Chess Club - all skill levels are welcome as it's an opportunity to learn, leverage & improve skills and ultimately have fun!

Excited to announce we're incorporating in-person sessions this season. To provide flexibility and learning; we will also continue to leverage Chesskid.com a virtual platform to interact, create connections, play chess & provide practice convenience.
